I have been licensed since 1983. It started a long time ago when i was a boy. I liked to listen to music. It grew from listening to the Beatles and PINK FLOYD that were recorded on reel to reel tape .It was a copy of one of the broadcasts on HF band from the Voice of America dedicated to the Beatles and PINK FLOYD.
This encouraged me to learn English, and also to try to talk to people in the English speaking world .Then i found "Radio" magazine published in Russia where i encountered an article about ham radio and got interested in it very much. Then i found one of the biggest antenna in my area. I was fortunate to meet my mentor and good friend UA6MZ ( ex UA6LBC).
I also was fortunate to meet my very good friend Richard G0IAX . He visited me in Russia many times and helped me very much in learning and understanding English language ,customs and culture. My Primary interests include DXing , contesting and ragchewing also have been introduced to digital comms.
I enjoy talking to my friends when I am not DXing or contesting. So be sure to call me any time if you should hear me on. It is always great to hear from old friends.

Whatever happens in life and what it may bring - don't ever loose your dreams and fantasy...
