QSL manager for VA7PX
I am an active member of the PODX 070 Club (#418), the Feld Hell Club (#003),
The European PSK Club #1860 and the Delta Amateur Radio Society. Currently I am
mostly using PSK31 on 40m, 20m and 15m and have started an active interest in
Olivia, MFSK, HELL, RTTY and other digital modes. Recently I have discovered
RTTY & SSB contesting which takes up many of my weekends! I am hoping to become
active in CW in 2008.
I started out as an SWL in the early 1960s as WPE3FNC. I served in radio rooms
in small vessels of the Royal Canadian Navy in the late 1960s as a
communications officer. In the early 1970s I operated a Government of Canada
radio with the call XMJ333 for the National Parks Service of Canada in New
Brunswick. I did not get back to amateur radio until January 2005 when I passed
the theory and code tests. I passed the advanced qualification in 2007.
Paper QSL cards are my preference - either direct or through the QSL bureau - I
respond 100%. I also maintain an LOTW account.
BTW - the image is the flag of the beautiful Province of British Columbia.
