Click for more detail... QSL manager for VA7PX I am an active member of the PODX 070 Club (#0418), the Feld Hell Club (#0003), The European PSK Club (#1860). Currently I am mostly using digital modes on 40m, 20m and 15m and have started an active interest in Olivia, MFSK, HELL, RTTY and other digital modes. Recently I have discovered RTTY & SSB contesting which takes up many of my weekends! In 2009 I will be experimenting with more digital modes - such as THROB. I am proud to have achieved LONP #112 with the PODX 070 Club. (Become a member (free) of this great club by visiting the site - http://www.podxs070.com/) I started out as an SWL in the early 1960s as WPE3FNC. I served in radio rooms in small vessels of the Royal Canadian Navy in the late 1960s as a communications officer. I did not get back to amateur radio until January 2005 when I passed the theory and code tests. I passed the Canadian advanced qualification in 2007. Paper QSL cards are my preference - either direct or through the QSL bureau - I respond 100%. I also maintain both LOTW & E-QSL accounts. I also operate as VA7PX on Mayne Island (IOTA NA-075) and will gladly arrange skeds for anyone needing that location for awards - through through that call as I now have internet on the island - but still no snail mail. BTW - the image is the flag of the beautiful Province of British Columbia. Last modified: Sat Apr 25 11:21:36 2009 Does this page contain inappropriate content? If so, Report this page... |
