I have been a Ham since 2003 and passed my advance ticket in 2004 and my code in 2005. My interests are 2 meters, APRS, IRLP and HF. I enjoy building my own electronic circuits, antenna and TNC.

I also have a APRS weather station VE7MMG-1.

I have a Yamaha Venture 1200 motorcycle and beacon as ve7mmg-2.

I started in 2007 experimenting with a D700 beaconing every 30 minutes while in the truck and 24hr a day beaconing with a OT with smart beaconing.

When mobile around town I scan local repeaters including the local IRLP node 1491.

When touring on the road I monitor 146.52

My wife Genie is also a ham VE7GVW and my son Marc VE7MHN and so is my nephew Pierre-Luc VE2PLT.
