Located some 20km North of the Perth city centre in Whiteman Park, is the home of the Northern Corridor Radio Group.
To the members of this club, this is known as “Ham Heaven.”

The station is currently under construction. The antennas are:
A 6m - 40m Sommer XP808 log beam
A homebrew 5 element monoband yagi for 20m
A Hy Gain 3 element monoband yagi for 40m
¼ wave lattice mast verticals with gull wing radials for 80m and 160m
A 6 element yagi for 6m
A 12 element yagi for 2m ssb.
A 5/8 vertical for the VK6RWA 10m beacon on 28.264 MHz.
Wire antennas on 30m and 40m for weekly WIA News relay broadcasts

Plans are well advanced to add 6 element monoband yagis for 15m and 10m on a 22m tower in the very near future.

Inside we are building 2 contest stations in separate shacks, comprising 2 Elecraft K3 transceivers, ICE bandpass filters, Six Pack auto antenna switching system and a pair of Emtron DX-2 HF amplifiers.

Another room houses 2 fixed frequency transmitters for WIA news broadcast connected to wire antennas. The 10m beacon is also housed here.

Other rooms in the club include a workshop, office, meeting hall, full kitchen and an upstairs air conditioned room with two beds for overnight stays during contests.

We welcome approaches from intending overseas visitors and we are pleased to have hosted quite a few international hams and allowed them access to our constantly improving facilities.

Our members are often heard activating the club station. We all work at improving the club’s DXCC tally and we are all proud in the knowledge that we are all part of the very best club station in Australia.

Neil VK6NE is our QSL manager and all direct qsl's are answered promptly. If you want a direct qsl card please send to above Po Box. The Po Box is checked weekly and you should have a confirmed qsl in about 3 weeks. Please send either 2$US or 1 IRC for direct QSL. You can also qsl via the bureau. So get that rare Zone 29 confirmed.

Catch you on the bands, Good DX.
