Received ham licence in 1972 with call sign vu2juz.Passed grade I in 1973 with call sign vu2jau. Having awards like W.A.C.. ,Asian DX contest Award , W R I .Have participiated in Himalayan car rallies since 1979 till 1987. Also taken active part in the MORVI DAM DISASTER IN 1979 , assisted as relay station in Gujrat Earthquack . He was in Tanzania for 3 years from 1981-1984 and operated as 5H3SB . Have started NAMASTE NET there where most of the hams checked in. At present President of Amateur Radio Club Gwalior and running HAM classes and doing Demonstrations in different schools . He is in the Governing Council of ARSI. Jayu is also associated with Lions Club International since 1982 and is a Past President of Lions Club of Gwalior.By profession is a Chemist in Ediable Oil Refinery and Vanaspathi Plantssince 30 years.Also fond of Music Sports like Cricket , Dramas and Photography as well
