Obtained FCC 2nd.Class Commercial Radiotelephone License in 1975, but hadn't considered amateur operation until 1995 when I tested and received callsign KB2UNT. Got the bug and soon upgraded to Extra Class and obtained my present call, W2QU.

Enjoy HF operation, especially on CW. I am FISTS member 2427. You'll usually find me lurking on the lower edges of 40 and 20 meters looking for DX. I really enjoy receiving QSL cards and always respond to direct requests quickly. Please QSL direct or by buro. Include your e-mail address on the card and I will e-mail you when I send mine out to you.

I also enjoy building QRP kits and restoring old amateur and broadcast equipment.
