First licensed in June of 1934 as W2JCQ in Troy, New York. Born there and
moved to Maryland in 1947 after 4 years in U.S. Army Signal Corp. Moved to
Alelandria, Va. in l953 and had call sign W4PYC. Back to Maryland in 1962 with
new call K3FFK Columbia, Md., applied for vanity call and got W3RU in 1967.
Worked as communications engineer for ITT EPL in Maryland. Traveled 47
countries , around world 5 times. Moved to Florida in 1974 , retired in 1986
and back to Maryland . Taught ESL (English as a Second Language) from l987 to
1994. Retired again and enjoying the four seasons in Maryland.
