QSL: SILENT KEY APRIL 2010

Another Silent Key to report this morning.  I got a call yesterday from the son of Alan Moore, W3QO.
Alan passed away last Saturday, April 24th in Palm Bay, Florida, at the age of 71.  Alan was an avid DXer.
He lived in Germany for 17 years working for an American company and was active as DA1QO.
It’s always a sad time for me to make the note in my database of an SK, especially one who had been on
the mailing list for so long…Alan had been there since 1997.  Rest in peace my friend.
