Former callsign - W9FFF from 1960 to 1962 while in Valpariso, Indiana. Held
call K8AZW in Niles, Ohio from 1955 to 1960. Have been W4BWS since 1962 when I
moved to Florida. Moved to AL Oct 2004 after retirement. Presently active on
QRP CW and on 40 and 80 AM. I desire to build my own equipment but am
restricted for time and therefore I have seveal pre-owned kits and QRO/QRP
commercial equipment. Presently I run QRP with a Kenwood TS 670 on 40 15 10 and
6 all mode, a MFJ 9420 on 20 cw and ssb, NW 40,Norcal 20, and several glow bugs
homebrew on 40 meters. I also have a IC735 and TS 530SP as backup rigs. I use
the GAP Challenger vertical on 40 thru 2 meters and a Carolina Windom 80 thru
10 up 70 feet with RG8X feed. I also have several boat anchors on the air
including a Collins KWS-1,Collins 75S3A, Heath DX60B on 80 and 40 AM, and
Johnson Viking Ranger1. Other hobbies include SCUBA diving, public speaking and
teaching about natural health and nutrition subjects. I will answer mail about
