Thanks for visiting my listing in QRZ. No that's not me sitting on top of the radio, it's my cat named Casey, a healthy red point apple faced Siamese. Loves the warmth of the ham shack.
Visited eBay and picked up an IC-756PROIII as a present to myself when I retired in 2008. Moved to North Carolina and set up a new station in Pinehurst, to occupy the 10 or 20 days a year when I can't play golf or tennis (or cut the grass, prune the bushes, kill the weeds, dodge the black snakes, etc.)
Using a stealthy Carolina Windom on all bands from 80 to 10 meters. It's a shortened version, so it doesn't perform as well on 80/75 as my previous Windom that I used in the old QTH back in Syracuse, NY. But it gets me on the air. Currently working on a new WAS from the NC QTH and trying to find a few new ones for DXCC.
