I have been a Ham since I was 12 years old, as I assisted my uncle CO2MS back in our hometowm of Cuba. My education is as follows: Associate in Arts, Bachelors in Sciences with a Minor in Administration, and a Masters Degree in Construction from the renowned School of Engineering at Florida International University. My previous call was WD4NLG, a call that I proudly held for more than 20 years. I needed a smaller call; such as, W4HN for DX. I am very much involved with the Emergency Service of Miami-Dade County, the Red Cross, ARPSC, and ARES. I was also awarded the Ambassador Award Plaque from the ARPSC at the Miami Hamboree back on February, 1998. I am currently the the Past President of America Radio Club, and it's present Secretary. I am also the Florida Repeater Council Director for District 1. The first one is a very large Club composed of all ethnic backgrounds. The ARC is also involved in the Emergency Service. The FRC is the ARRL recognized entity for repeater coordination in the State of Florida. We have a repeater system here in Miami that is good from Key West (South) to Ft. Pierce(North). Come to Miami and spend some time with us! Also visit me at: http://www.qsl.net/w4hn and at: http://www.expage.com/page/w4hn Thanks!
