I'm W5CL, My old callsign of KA0AGC ( www.ka0agc.com ) Living now in Milton, Florida. ( 20 miles east of Pensacola, FL ). Member of Milton Amateur Radio Club in Milton, FL web site. (www.MiltonARC.org) I have enjoyed Ham Radio for about 39 years. I was in the United States Marine Corps for 9 1/2 years with two tours of Viet-Nam. In 1973 after getting out of the corp I started working in electronics at Burstein-Applebee selling electronics parts and ham radio equipment. In 1975 I went to Associated Radio in Overland Park, KS where I spend many years with W0BC Wade Williams ( SK ) where I had many stations to work with. I sold quite a few older hams many different new and used equipment back then. My love of the old radio equipment is still in my heart. In 1979 I went to work with HEATHKIT Electronics Store in Shanee Mission, KS where I worked and built many different ham radios and computers. In 1981 I took over the HEATHKIT Electronics Store in Oklahoma City, OK till a family problem brought me to South Florida where I was into several computer and video store operations. I was also in to Computer Direction Drilling for many years I'm also a old Harley Biker. Yes I have 45 tattoo's dealing with my old lifestyles. I don't get to ride much any more because of a leg problem but I keep her to start and charge battery's if we get more hurricanes. She is like a good woman you just can't let her go. I still enjoy ham radio like I did when I started. I like to rag chew and work a little DX. I work mostly SSB but do pop on CW every so often. As I change the information here. I had 6518 look ups under KA0AGC. Now with several medical problem. The only thing I still enjoy is Ham Radio and Computers. I have signs saying if you come into my back yard you are taking your life into your on hands. Because of all the ground radials and different antenna sticking out of the ground and laying on the ground. My station does get clean but after a little it and the work bench come back to clutter. Well that is my history. ( I just wish that we all as ham could band together and try and teach the kids that electronics is more than just turning on a computer and playing games. ) I will QSL thu Bureau or Direct. Setting up for EQSL soon. I do use the AC Log Software and I do enjoy using it. Please to all hams that read this. Please make sure that you have a will and keep it up and make sure they know where it is. Make a list of all your ham equipment and keep it up dated for your family. I have been selling off hams equipment in the area that have pass away there wifes were at a loss not knowing what to do. I did it for them because I have seen several other people really take a few familys equipment and give them pennies on a dollar for equipment that was worth thousands of dollars
