Hi, I like most hams enjoy making my own antennas, at present I use a single 40
meter full wave loop hanging vertical and feed horizontal. I have also put
together a full size 40 meter 4 element quad looking East to check into some of
my favorite early morning nets(Socars/Ecars/Midcars/RV.Service Net, and to keep
in touch with my friends to the East. I have a full size loop up to work 160
meters also. I have recently become active on 2 meter ssb and finding this part
of 2 meters to be very interesting. You can find me on the Noontime Traffic Net
@ 1200 hrs. PT at 7.268.50 mhz, I am NCS on Fridays and I also assist other NCS
when I can be there through the week as the net runs 7 days a week and covers
into the Mid West/ Old Mexico and 3 Prov's in Canada. I am also a member of the
Beehive Utah Net on 7.272.00 mhz @ 1230 hrs. MT. These are both open nets and
all are welcome to check in when you have the time.
73's to all. Bob
