Hello everyone. First licensed in the late 1970's, but inactive in the hobby
for the past 15 years. Got involved on HF again last October 2003. Love to work
DX stations, participating in contests, and QSLing. Right now the station is
very modest. An older Kenwood rig with 6146's in the finals running 100 watts
to a G5RV dipole up about 35 feet. Hope to upgrade to one of the smaller beam
antennas but not sure what to mount it on yet. If you work me, be sure to send
your QSL card. I love to receive them and QSL 100% of my contacts. Take care
and best 73's. Bill (W7BBC)
Dec 20, 2007: Well, retired from the Post Office and moved away from the beach
and Ocean Shores to Puyallup, WA. I gotta be one of the luckiest hams in the
US. I won Gigaparts Sweepstakes. The prize was a Yaesu FT950. This is the first
brand new rig I've ever owned. I now live in a CCR neighborhood so will be
looking for a decent stealth antenna (there goes the tower and beam). Hope to
be back on the air by this summer with the new rig. I'll also be looking for a
decent photo representing the area to use on a new QSL card.
