Completed a distinguished Air Force career in 1984 and retired at Warner Robins AFB GA, from the 19th Bomb Wing/Air Refueling Wing with Rank of CHIEF MASTER SERGEANT, (CMSGT-E9).

Awarded the BRONZE STAR will assigned to the 376th Strategic Wing(SAC)B-52's, during the Vietnam Crisis/War

Spent almost 31 years in the A.F. of which 26+ years was in THE STRATEGIC AIR COMMAND in the AIRCRAFT MAINTENANCE FIELD.

Served a four year tour of duty with the SAC ELITE MAINTNENCE STANDARDIZATION AND EVALUATION TEAM at SAC HQ's. Omaha Neb.

Thus the "CALL SIGN W7SAC" (A VANITY CALL)

After retiring I worked for ROCKWELL INTERNATIONAL in CALIF. as a Field Service Rep on the A.F.'s B1B Bomber Program. Help the A.F.open up the first B1B Base in Abilene Texas.

Left that program to work as a Quality Assurance Eng'r for the Northrop Corp. on the new B2 Bomber. These duties were performed in Seattle Wa. at the Boeing Plant who was manufacturing major structural components for the B-2 Bomber Aircraft.

I then moved on to Boeing Quality Assurance Division in Renton Wa. working in the 737 and 757 facility.

As of Sept 1, 2000 I retired from Boeing Seattle and moved to Florida where I hope to learn to relax, enjoy life and have closer ties with my family. Life has been good and I want to continue to enjoy it.

My other hobbies beside all areas of amateur radio, are computers, country dancing and music, playing golf, wine tasting and staying healthy.

I am now settled in my new permament residence in Fort Walton Beach FL where I now have my tower up, with a TA33JR at about 46' (with WARC Band Kit)and a Mor-Gain wire for 40/75M. Also on 6M with a Halo Antenna and 2m/440 J pole. Running a Icom 756 PRO, a Kenwood TS450SAT (on 40/75), a Kenwood TM-V7 Dual Bander and a Alinco DX-70 in the Mobile.

So I have made progress getting all set up here in Florida and enjoying the retired life. Hope to meet you on the airwaves some time some place.
