I've been a ham for 42 years but was inactive for about 15 of those years while my kids were at home and my career as a CPA was demanding. Now my XYL and I are empty nesters and I finally have some time for our great hobby. I enjoy CW wherever there is an open band and also some SSB. I seem to spend a lot of time on 40 meter CW.

I enjoy rag-chewing, some DX and some contesting. My FIST's number is 9358 CC NR 1434, and my Ten Ten number is 73178. My primary rig is an ICOM 746 with a G5RV antenna. I also enjoy QRP with my Elecraft K2. I also have a few boat anchors at my cabin in eastern Washington, near Lake Wenatchee. I occasionally take my K-2 QRP backpacking into the nearby mountains. I'm also looking to expand my interests in PSK 31 and home brew building of QRP transmitters and receviers.
