Since 1976

Greetings from W7VO, located in the bustling metropolis of greater Scappoose, Oregon!

The W7VO callsign has been traced back to the early 1920's and information on previous holders can be found HERE.

I started my ham life as a novice as WN6HKP in 1974 while living in Santa Cruz, CA, then progressed from WA6HKP, then to KW6C before moving permanently to Oregon as a refugee from Silicon Valley in 2007. I used WA7MR as a temporary 7 land call, then received W7VO in 2008.

The 3 operating position station here is equipped and used primarily for single op or multi-single contesting efforts. The latter is primarily with the Columbia Amateur Radio Association, (N7EI) where we focus on getting newly minted hams on the air, sometimes for the first time on HF!

More information can be found on my website: www.w7vo.com

I also enjoy a bit of historic road racing with my 1966 Plymouth Barracuda FIA-GT
