Retired middle school teacher from Oshkosh, Wi. Grew up in Ironwood, Mi.and was formerly W8LON in the early fifties.Also had a French call F7GB in Orleans,France in the late fifties while in the military. Acquired a bachelors and masters degree from Northern Michigan University in the mid 60s. Started teaching career in Wauconda, Ill. where the call W9JIF was acquired in l965. Moved to Oshkosh, Wi. in l967 and taught there for 29 years before retiring in l996. Moved to Sun City West,Az. in 96. I work all bands and love cw,ssb and the digital modes. My other hobbies include reading, computers as well as traveling. Just changed my call to W7JIF .My Ten Ten number is 7022. My wife Steffe is KD7NAN.We love Arizona and the beautiful weather.
