Licensed in 1956 as KN9IDU and upgraded in 1957 to K9IDU. Other calls have been W0PUL and N4OJW.
My radio is a Kenwood TS-2000. My antenna is a Mosley TA-34-XL tribander at a height of 20 meters. The TA-34XL has 4 active elements on 10, 15 and 20 and uses a 21 foot boom.
For 12, 17, 30, 40, 80 and 160 I'm using a B&W Folded Dipole (180 ft of wire) in a flat-top configuration with the center support on my tower at 40 ft.
I'm retired, age 69, and enjoy playing classical piano, digital photography, and, of course, Ham Radio. For the past 9 years I've been actively trading the stock market using Technical Analysis and strict capital management rules.
