Since my retirement I have become more active in the hobby.

I prefer using my nickname  "Mac".

I moved to Florida in 1986.

I enjoy working on 75, 40, 20, 17, and occasionally on 10 meters.

My rigs at the present time are:

Icom 756 Pro III

Icom 746 Pro

Yaesu 1000MP Mark V   ( 200w. )

I use a minimum of audio equipment.

I ues the  Electro-voice RE-20 microphone.

My goal is to sound balanced and natural, with a full range of audio.

Not all base, and not all highs.

My amplifier is an Ameritron AL- 80B.

I use a Delta loop, fed with 450 Ohm ladder line to a 4 to 1 balun. From the balun, I use coax to the shack.

( This antenna is temporarily down for repairs. )

Using a 40/15/17 dipole for now.

I use a 10 meter verticle on occasion also.

The tuner is a Palstar AT-2K.

I have a lot of fun, and I have made a lot of friends in Amateur Radio.
