Lookups:   1055 Ham Member

I was first licensed in 1973 as a novice; callsign WN5OZI. I currently hold an Advanced class license. I served six years in the Navy as a Communication Tech where I learned CW. I spent an additional 16 years active duty in the Army from which I ultimately retired as a Signal Corps Communications Warrant Officer.

Because of restrictions I rely upon a half-square up 18 feet and a small loop antenna in the attic. My primary radio is a Kenwood TS-850S with 100 watts of power.

I recently retired, again, after 18 years, as a school principal. I am currently an adjunct professor at Walden University.
