I'm a member of both the North Florida DX Association and the Florida DXpedition Group, and I'm a casual contester & avid DX'er by heart. My Station consists of a FT-1000MP MRK V, TS-850sat, IC-746pro,TenTec Titan 425, Ten-Tec 238, SB220 & SB200, CushCraft X-7,A50-5s, A270-10s, on top of a TX-455 US Tower, along with my handy dandy R-7, and a 40/80 Inverted V at 45 Feet. I like to chase DX and participate ocassionaly in contest. I am primarily a HF Phone operator, but like to dapple in CW and other digital modes. I find IOTA Island hopping is fun, and I like to find new IOTA's, Lighthouses and DX locations to operate from.

This past year, members have operated from Haiti, Guantanamo Bay, Montserrat, Antigua, St.Paul Island, San Andres & the Turks & Caicos. I also operate mobile HF and use a ICOM 706MkII.

I also operate the Only FULLTIME RF Dx Packet Cluster in North Fla from the University of Fla Dental Science tower with Bidirectionial internet feeds, with Antennas at 165ft. It serves the surrounding Gainesville area and the Greater Jacksonville area, accessable on 145.090 and 223.460
