Hi, my nickname has always been Peggy. My husband, Sonny-WA4EX has been an amateur radio operator for more than3 1/2 decades, but I have only been licensed since August 4, 1996. My first callsign was KF4LFB, my second callsign was KU4JC, and I chose my (current) vanity callsign WA4PW before I made it to Extra Class in August,1998. I'm a Volunteer examiner for both the ARRL VEC and W5YI VEC.

December is a great month for me. I was baptised on December 24th, 1972, married my Best Friend on December 30th, 1972.(and both my husband's and my birthday are in Decembertwo days apart)

I keep pretty busy. We attendsome Hamfests and try to give other members an opportunity to meet one another who may not otherwise get the chance to "eyeball" the person whose voice they hear (check it out on www.southcars.com)I try to take some pictures of members we meet at Hamfests.

I enjoy gardening,computers, crocheting sculpted creationsour Tortoise cat "Callie" inspires alot of these.not the usual afgans, I sew, do crafts and collect some vintage dishes, but my main collecting "passion" is Teddy Bears.

We are MOSTLY involved with The : Ambassadors For Christ Net on 7.280Mhz. Net times are: Mon. thru Fri 2:00 P.M. ET 'till 3:00 P.M. ET.Also, Sat from 3:00 P.M. 'till 4:00 P.M. ET.
