Hello all. My name is Darron my novice ticket was issued 1967.If we had a qso in December of 2005 its a good bet i was on my little one tube crystal controlled 6L6 transmitter,that was shown in the 1955 ARRL book called "How to become a radio amateur".This little transmitter was called a sucker stick transmitter,because the plate ,and antenna coils were wound basket weave style on penny sucker sticks.It only puts out 8 watts.My receiver is a 30 year old Ten Tec century 21. If i talked with you using this rig a qsl,letter,and picture of lil rig was sent to you confirming our contact.
