Click for more detail... Hello, I have been a ham since 1975. I enjoy the QRP end of the hobby. Especially hiking out on the Appalachian Trail in PA with my K1. I have been going out every month on the AT since March 2000. I have 1,000 QSO's, 48 States and 25 Countries from the trail as of 14 December 2008. I prefer exchanging QSL Cards the old fashion way. I do not exchange QSL's via e-qsl for my QSO's from the Appalachian Trail, this is because I make custom QSL cards for the AT QSO's. I will do e-qsl for QSO's from my home QTH. I operate 95% QRP CW, I do operate PSK31 and SSB. I like kit building my QRP radios. I also like hunting lighthouses on the air, ARLHS #423.
