I have been licensed on and off since 1969. Back then, I held a
novice ticket (WN0YLU if I remember right). Back in those days,
the Novice ticket was not renewable. As a teenager, I
predictably lost interest in ham radio, however I kept my
original Hammarlund HQ100 receiver, and it still works great.
Having the Hammarlund kept me in touch with ham radio over the
years. I also have my Johnson Viking II transmitter around, but
it will need some TLC to get back on the air.
My hometown is Pueblo, Colorado, but I have lived in northern
Colorado since finishing my engineering degree at Colorado State
Univ. My present QTH is about 3 miles NW of Berthoud, CO. I am
married since 1974 and have 2 children. My son, Greg, is also a
ham. His call is KC0IID.
My other interests include Skiing, Fishing, Hiking, and
Photography. Some of my better photos can be seen by visiting my
website.
I QSL 100% to all cards that I receive, no SASE required. I am
set up in the ARRL international bureaus.
Hope to catch you on the air some time. 73's
