Click for more detail... At the age of 15 I was given a CB radio as a present. My father, a RF engineer, taught me the theory of electronics and antennae. 1 year later I wrote my Ham exam. At the age of 20, I was selected as radio operator to the South African weather station team on Marion Island (ZS8) for a year. I haven't been active for a number of years but the bug have bitten me once again. I am now looking forward to many DX on the bands and hope to hear you all soon. A special thanx to all the Hams who played a part in my life, especially during my school going years right up to now. God bless!
