G3ZEF is the Radio and Electronics Club station located at Culham Science Centre, some 6 miles south of the University city of Oxford. It is the UK centre for plasma physics and fusion energy research and also hosts and manages the prestigious European JET experiment. More details on this exciting scientific endeavour to provide our long-term energy needs can be found at www.fusion.org.uk.

The Club has been in existence for some 30 years, making significant contributions to the early network of 2m and 70cm repeaters in the UK. After many years of absence, it has returned to the HF spectrum and is now (as of Nov 21, 2001) QRV on 20,17,15,12 and 10m most Wednesday lunchtimes (1230-1330 local time, UTC in winter and UTC+1 in summer). So, if you hear us on the air, please give us a call. The regular station operators are the Chairman - Terry (M0CLH), Robert (G0MYX), Guy (G3ZHL), Tim (G4DBL) and Geoff (G3XGC).

GQ3ZEF: please QSL this special call (in celebration of the Queen's Golden Jubilee) through the buro to our normal callsign, G3ZEF.
