Dal 28 al 31 Luglio si terrà a Genova il TALL SHIPS RACE 2007, un'evento navale internazionale dove saranno presenti i più bei velieri d'europa, tra cui l'AMERIGO VESPUCCI, il PALINURO e l'ITALIA, oltre a tante altre navi scuola. Per questo evento l'ARMI, sarà operativa con un teams dal porto vecchio di Genova, dal Comando della Guardia Costiera, utilizzando un nominativo speciale II1TS (ITALY ITALY ONE TALL SHIPS) , opereranno in HF ed in banda sei metri, in tutti i modi (SSB/CW/FSK). All'occorrenza è stato ideato un diploma che può essere richiesto all'award manager IT9MRM Alberto, al costo di 10 Euro, (il ricavato, tolte le spese di stampa e spedizione sarà devoluto all'ISTITUTO ANDREA DORIA - istituto che si occupa dei bambini orfani di padri marinai deceduti in servizio o in missioni di pace).

Nello stesso periodo gli operatori ARMI saranno attivi anche da bordo di una delle navi scuola utilizzando il nominativo speciale II1TS/MM, le operazioni saranno in QRP.

From July 28th to 31st, will be taking place the 2007 TALL SHIPS RACE, an international naval event featuring the most beautiful sailing vessels of Europe, among which the AMERIGO VESPUCCI, the PALINURO and the ITALIA, in addition to many other ships which are specially-equipped training vessels. For this event, the ARMI will be operational with a team from the Coast Guard Command stationed at the Old Port of Genoa using a special call sign, II1TS (ITALY ITALY ONE TALL SHIPS) , which will be operating in HF and six meter band, in all modes (SSB/CW/FSK). For this occasion, a special officiel award Diploma has been created and can be requested from IT9MRM Alberto, the award manager, for a cost of 10 Euros. (The proceeds, less printing and postal expenses, will be attirbuted to the ISTITUTO ANDREA DORIA, a charity institution which cares for the orphaned children of Navy personnel deceased in the line of duty or in peace missions. During the above-mentioned period, the ARMI operators will be active on board one of the training vessels using the special call sign II1TS/MM; operations will be in QRP.
