I received my IK1PMR license in 1990. My main ham interest is HF DXing, all bands, all modes. My preferred mode is CW.

Other interests: travelling (I visited most of western Europe, USA, Mexico, Hong Kong, Australia, Polynesia). I like planning trips and I also try to improve my knowledge of foreign cultures and languages.

I'm a software and information technology specialist. I earned a degree and a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Torino, Italy.

I'm member of ARI since 1990, but please note that the ARI QSL Bureau will not forward to me the QSLs for DXpeditions (VU4AN/VU3TLY, TY5MR, 9H3MR, CW2C, etc) because this service is not included in the ARI standard subscription.

I operated as member of several DXpeditions and contest operations, but I'm not the QSL manager for many of them, including the following: 4O3T (2006), 6O0CW (2005), IQ1AO (via buro), PH6Q, PI4CC, T33C (2004 via F5CWU), TX4PG (2003), GB1OTA. Please don't send these QSLs to me.
