I received the IK1PMR full license in 1990. My main ham interest is HF DXing, all bands, all modes. My preferred mode is CW, but I operate all modes.

Other interests: travelling (I visited most of western Europe, USA, Mexico, four times the Pacific area, Somalia, Benin, South America, Mongolia, etc). I like planning trips (with HF radio) and I also try to improve my knowledge of foreign cultures and languages.

I'm a software and information technology specialist. I earned a degree (with honors) and a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Torino, Italy.

I operated as member of several DXpeditions and contest operations, but I'm not the QSL manager for many of them, including the following: 4O3T (2006), 6O0CW (2005), IQ1AO (via buro), PH6Q, PI4CC, T33C (2004 via F5CWU), TX4PG (2003), GB1OTA. Please don't send these QSLs to me.
