In 1980, I was selected as ARRL Midwest Division Ham of the Year and in 2002 I was honored as Nebraska Ham of the Year by the ARRL.

I am the sysop for the K0GND DX PacketCluster and achieved DXCC Honor Roll in 2004! I am also active on APRS where I am the local IGate. I operate HF mobile frequently.

I am also the State MARS director for Nebraska AF MARS.
