I am using a Multi Mode Yaesu FT-897D as a base and and have 2 Yaesu FT-7800R mobiles in both vehicles I am a Member of the Mich-Con Amateur Radio Club and run the Dickinson County ARES\RACES Thursday net at 6:30P.M. Central Time on 146.850 in Iron Mountain area. I am also the Ares EC for Dickinson County and also Florence County Wisconsin. I enjoy 6 meter and 20 meter DX along with RTTY, PSK31 and SSTV.
