Click for more detail... I have been a licensed ham since 1990. Before that, I spent many years exclusively on the CB or 11 meter band, primarily working SSB. I am not ashamed of that, and have many friends who have progressed from there to get their amateur license as I did. I primarily enjoy rag chew on the 10 and 40 meter bands, and usually monitor the 6 meter band for any openings. I am one of the founding members of the Margarita & Martini Chapter of 1010 International. You can visit www.mmchapter.org for more details on the Chapter or www.ten-ten.org for details on 1010 International. My 1010# is 57475 and my local MM Chapter number is 11FM. You may also view videos of the MM Chapter weekly net taken from my own ham shack at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EirncuyVb-0. I also am a Member of the North Georgia Chapter of 1010, and my New South Number is 2027. In my early years as a ham, I was involved in the creation of the Southeastern Linked Repeater Net by serving as the original net control. I still serve as a back-up net control when needed. Information on the Net can be found at http://selinkedrepeater.net or by entering the name of the Net into your favorite search engine. This Net meets every Wednesday evening at 9 Eastern Time on a variety of repeaters in the Southeastern USA. Finally, I enjoy several digital modes, including PSK31 and RTTY. I primarily operate digital on 10, 20, 30, and 40 meters. My 30 Meter Digital Group # is 1196. I hope to chat with you soon on the bands.
