Hi there.  I'm retired after 38 years in the fire service.  I run a pretty basic shack; an Icom 718 with a W2IHY 8 band equalizer & EQ Plus, Heil Goldline Mic, LDG IT-100 Tuner.  For 2M I'm using an Icom 2200H and a Kenwood THK2AT Handheld.  Antennas are an Alpha Delta DX-LB Plus trap dipole in an inverted V configuration and a J-Pole.  I enjoy ragchew and check into various nets as time permits. 

I'm also a photographer and traveller and enjoy making photographs of countries I've visited.
