I hold an Amateur Extra Class License and have been an avid DXer and contester since 1998.  I enjoy SSB, CW, RTTY, and PSK31.  While I live on a city lot that is only about ⅓ of an acre, it has been big challenge to be successful in contests and DXCC.  As of 2008, I have 216 confirmed countries and DXCC on three bands (10/15/20 meters) and I hope to attain 100 countries on 80 and 40 meters during the winter of 2008 and 2009 (I now have 118 on 40M and 100 on 80M, now I just need the cards!).  160 meters will take me a few more years. J  I enjoy homebrewing as much as possible with the hobby to help keep up my electronics skills.  I also help my local club, the Alamance Amateur Radio Club, K4EG, by teaching technician classes and serving as an ARRL Volunteer Examiner.  Hopefully we will meet on the bands one day.
