I am a teacher and union president - have been an amateur radio enthusiast for 23+ years.and I'm only 37+ years old. As a kid, one of my best friends had a father who was a very active ham, Cliff Moulton W7MFW. The son was not that interested, but I loved all the blinking lights! hi hi!

I'm currently in my third round of activity as a ham. Station includes an Icom IC-756 Pro, an IC-910h VUF/UHF all mode rig, a Kenwood TM-V7A 2m/70cm rig for Packet, a Yeasu FT-290rII 2m All-mode, an Icom IC-37A 220mhz rig and a rigblaster pro and a AEA PK-900 for the digital modes. Also have a Uniden BC895-XLT Scanner. Have a couple of Kenwood TH-28a HT's, a Yeasu VX-R5 HT and a FT-290rII Portable 2m All mode for field work.
