Full, Class A licence received in July 1999 and I am active on 80m through 70cm with an Icom IC-756PRO feeding a home-brew 100ft (31m) doublet at 40ft (12m) remotely tuned with an SG 230 AMU. A Kenwood TS 570D and Yaesu FT817 are used for portable/mobile work. I use an Icom IC-910 for 2m (11 el) and 70cm (19 el). I am keen to promote the Apple Macintosh for use in all aspects of amateur radio.

Currently, I am the Chairman of the Culham Science Centre's Radio and Electronics Club which is the UK centre for plasma physics and fusion energy research.
