Thank you for taking the time to look up N7HCJ. I have been amateur radio operator since 1984 when I got my Novice license. I upgraded to General in 1985 and Extra in 2009. I enjoy working DX with my modest station and hope to participate in contests in the future. The equipment is a IcomIC-756 Pro II. Currently at the home QTH I have a 80/40 homemade dipole and a 2 element SteppIR up about 40 feet. For portable use I use a Buddipole antenna and a Yaesu FT-897D with an LDG tuner. I currently only have 100 watt capability, however, future plans include a new base station radio, and an amplifier. I am a member of ARRL, Central Washington Amateur Radio Club, Columbia Basin DX Club, and the Pacific Northwest VHF Society. I use the nickname "Woody" on the air and look forward to talking to you soon. 73's and see you on the air! Woody Last modified: 2012-01-18 22:02:24, 931 bytes fetched
