Hi!

My name is Akshay, and my call is VA7AAX. I got my Basic+ ticket in 2006.

I am 15 years old and attend high school. I am interested in anything that has to do with Amateur Radio! I regularly participate in emergency communications. I also enjoy 2m FM, attending Hamfests, vintage radios, foxhunting, and the occasional HF contesting. The event I enjoy the most is Field Day because I like to meet hams and discuss various things in amateur radio. I like to homebrew, specially small receivers and station accessories. 

Things I would like to do in Amateur Radio are Satellite Operations, and VHF contesting.

I am not able to go on HF as much as I like due to heavy antenna restrictions. But I like listening to 20m DX, and 40m/30m CW.
