My main Interests are in Ham Radio and Amateur Astronomy but not necessarily in that order.

Rig is a Yeasu FT-897 with a 20 meter wire HF Dipole at 20 feet using a MFJ-948 Versa Tuner II.

The Special Event Station will be on-the-air in June 2009 and be available during Field Day June 27th and 28th in Victoria, B.C Canada. It will Commemorate the 400th Anniversary of Galileo Galilei's first look at the sky through an Optical Instrument.

If you are an amateur radio enthusiasts who is also lnterested in setting up a similar Special Event Station Commemorating IYA please let me know.
