Click for more detail... Hi ! Thanks for the QSOs, especially those on the Top Band. This proves that you either have good antennas or a lot of patience (or both). Nevertheless, the feedback received indicates that many stations in JA/US worked me with just a 100w and a dipole on the Top Band, and many EU stations worked me on 80m with similar setup. Thanks for understanding that this operation was not one of those big bang multi-multi DX-peditions with a few $100K budget to spend and I did not create any opportunities to work VK9N for those with screwdriver antennas. Feel free to e-mail all of your criticism to me. My setup was as follows: budget class 100w radio. Inverted L vertical for 160m, with 56 ground radials. 1/4 wavelength vertical on 80m and a temporary 30m 1/4 w/l vertical. 120m short beverage to EU and another 100m short beverage to US. Not that I needed beverages - due to a very low industrial noise levels at VK9N and low static QRN (which was a bit of surprise) I could easily do with transmitting antenna on RX. RARELY ASKED QUESTIONS Q1. How can I get ur QSL? A1. It is perfectly OK to send ur cards via BURO to VK2CCC (it is my prefered method). In fact, you do not need to mail ur card at all, it is enough to lodge your eQSL or LotW QSL request and in responce I will mail my cards via buro straight away, in addition to confirming ur LotW or eQSL request. (Currently I still need to do all the paperwork for eQSL and LotW). Should you still prefer to send ur cards Direct - it is OK to do so. LY3W has volunteered to do all the Direct QSL cards management.
