VU2evr is a retired army surgeon,paratrooper,86 years age his medical unit took part under U.N.Command in Korea in the war during 1951-52 when North Korea invaded South Korea.The unit's surgical team took part in a parachute operation,Tomahawk,with U.S. airborne forces beyond enemy lines over Munsani in early 1952.the members in the team were decorated with silver star and bronze star medals by the U.S. They also served with British Division and received Gallantry Awards.VU2evr became a Ham after retirement and is enjoying it.
