My name is Omprakash I was born in the year Dec.1957. my occupation is business dealing in foodgrains.I entered into the hobby of AMATEUR RADIO in 1972;until 1982.I was only SWL,Just because of my lack hold on English language. To day I am proud enough to say that my present fluency in English language is due to AMATEUR RADIO.

In 1982 I got my Grade II licence and in 1984 I got my Grade I licence.I am the first persion to appear for A.S.O.C. Exam in HINDI language to get the licence.

From 1982 until 1984 I was on the air with QRP rig,homebrewed by my self.In September 1984 I got my commercial equipment and QRV on the air.

I am one of the net controllers of a popular net called as BELGAUM NET which operates on 7045/7050 Khz.every morning between 07 & 08 am IST that is 0130 to 0230 UTC.We get not less then 80 check-ins from all over India and from DX.

This is all about my activities.

My Equipment: ICOM-IC 751 HF + IC2KL + IC AT500 + Multi band dipole.
