Click for more detail... I've held this call since getting it as a novice in June 1957. I'm currently a self-employed marketing and business consultant. I was in broadcasting for 31 years. Along with my family, I built and operated the 13th commercial FM radio station in Washington state from Sept. 1962 until the end of December 1992. Other interests include flying. I hold a Commercial Pilots License with instrument rating and am a Certified Flight Instructor. I also owned and operated a General Aviation FBO from 1975 until May of 2005. In the Fall of 2007 I helped start a local flying club and serve as its Cheif Flight Instructor teaching people to fly. Recent ham radio activities have center around vintage AM operation, primarily on 3870 with the Pacific Northwest group. My favorite mode of operation has always been CW and it has recently be rejuvinated when I joined the Straight Key Century Club (SKCC) and I can be found on 80, 40 and 20 meters at various times of the day.
