Click for more detail... I received my Technician Amateur License KB9TBO on June 24, 1998 and upgraded to General on April 3, 2006 and Now I am a Amateur Extra as of August 11, 2006. I have changed my call it is now W9AL (October 11 2006) I live in Starke County Indiana and my grid is EN61pe. I’m involved in ARES, RACES, NTS, SKYWARN, CoCoRaHS, AND CERT. Currently I hold the position of Section Emergency Coordinator for Indiana, Official Relay Station and the Official Emergency Station in Starke County. I'm also a VE and a CERT INSTRUCTOR. I’m the Preisdent of the Starke County Amateur Radio Club, and a member of NWI ARES and SKYWARN Club, C.E.R.T. chapter of Porter and Starke County, ARRL member, FP#1273 and SKCC#1552 Also in the past years I have been involved with teaching a TECHNICIAN class, GENERAL with CODE class and a AMATEUR EXTRA class for our county’s Amateur radio club. I am and I been NCS for the following Nets - Starke County Amateur Radio Club, NWI ARES and SKYWARN Club and the Indiana Traffic Net I have attended classes for CERT, SKYWARN, Indiana Department of Homeland Security, and FEMA. I have completed the FEMA classes in IS-001, IS-005, IS-22, IS-26, IS-100A, IS-120, IS-139, IS-200A, IS-208, IS-230, IS-235, IS-240, IS-241, IS-242, IS-244, IS-250, IS-275, IS-288, IS-292, IS-300, IS-317, IS-546, IS-547, IS-700A, IS-775, IS-800B, IS-802, IS-805 and the ARRL ARECC Coarse Level 1 and Level 2.
