Click for more detail... I was the Electronics Instructor at the Kansas City Kansas Technical School for 15 years. From there I went to work for Motorola as a Project Manager installing Cellular telephone systems and Public Safety systems for 18 years. After retiring from Motorola I went to work for the local Motorola Service shop as a Project Manager. I am the ARRL Technical Coordinator for the Kansas section; Board member of the Kansas Amateur Repeater Council; Repeater coordinator for the Shawnee Radio Amateur Team, the Johnson County Radio Amateurs Club, and the 220 Amateur Radio and Monitoring Society. I have the oldest 220 repeater in the Kansas City area (went on the air in November 1976). My hobbies include woodworking, metalworking, and electronic circuit design and building.
