I have been a ham since the early 70s. Graduated from Mullins High School and Electronic School. I obtained my 1st class radio telephone license in 66, and did some radio DJing as a teenager. Later worked at WUSN-TV in Charleston, SC. One year later, I went to work with South Carolina ETV in the engineering department, and retired from there in after 30 years service.

I now operate Rogers Acoustics Inc, and do electronic work for the local school districts in our county, and some church sound system installations.

My wife, Lynda, retired from the Mullins School District after 35 years of service. We have one son, Joey, who is president of Powers Aviation in Florence, SC. He is chief pilot on a Falcon 50, three engine jet, use for charter flights mostly.
