Greetings to all!

The picture here tries to show my main interests in Ham Radio - CW, QRP operation, and the design, building, and collecting of keys, paddles, and bugs. On the desk are some of my homebrew keys, including a full-automatic bug and a RotoBug. You can see more at my growing website http://wb9lpu.googlepages.com It is being updated at least weekly for a while. As the gray hair shows, I have been around for quite a while, and a ham radio operator for 50+ years of that. I belong to Fists, QRP ARCI, SKCC, Flying Pigs, and the ARRL. There have been some years of silence during schooling, child-rearing, working, etc., but now that I am retired I hope more time can go into ham radio. My on-the-air activities are usually on HF CW; I hang around mostly on the Fists (Nr. 5698) and QRP frequencies on 80, 40, and 30 meters, with a little 2 meter phone activity from my car. I have a modest collection of "boatanchor" rigs that I put on the air from time to time. I welcome correspondence from key enthusiasts of all kinds - users, collectors, and builders. Hope to meet many of you on the air and let you hear the sound of a magnetic bug (perhaps keying my Eico 720).
