I am mainly a contester/DXer and this represents the bulk of my activity. While my school commitments limit my operating during the academic year, I do participate regularly in Field Day, IARU, and IOTA during the summers. In addition to operating my station, I have also quest operated from K3LP, N3HBX (8 times), W3AZ, W9GE, and WX3B. I have also earned 5BWAS, 5BWAC, DXCC, WPX, and USA-CA and am a member of ARRL, the Potomac Valley Radio Club (PVRC), and Worldwide Young Contesters (WWYC).

In 2006 I got my degree from Guilford College in Greensboro, NC (double major in physics and political science) and am currently a Ph.D. student in Carnegie Mellon University's Department of Engineering and Public Policy in Pittsburgh, PA.

My Dad, N3FX, is also a ham.
