In 1965 I got my first call: DL2GG

Years later I moved to Ecuador, where I had the calls HC2GG and HC2DX/8.

In the early seventies I moved to Venezuela, using the call DL2GG/YV5 for many years. In May 2006 finally I got the call YV5EU.

With Venezuelan friends I participated on DXpeditions to many Caribbean Islands (IOTA), but I also had the honour to be 4 times on Aves (YVØ). My last YVØ-trip was in April 2006 as CW-operator on the YXØA / YXØLIX expedition. See http://yv0.org

98% of my radio-activities are on CW, but sometimes I take a microphone :-) (e.c. YW4M contest)
